On our last year in Scotland, on a particular fine day n October, we took a stroll along Loch of the Lowes, the sisterloch of St Mary's Loch. It is on a small strip of land between these two stretches of water, where the local, Tibbie Shiel's Inn, is located.

The first photograph is a picture of where the Little Yarrow, coming from Loch of the Lowes, is flowing into St Mary's.

The trackroad passing by Tibbie's and Tommie's farm, winds its way up the hill (last photograph). This is an old drove road, nowadays only passable on foot, or with a LandRover.
